Delete account

Deleting your Soraya account and your data

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the German version applies.

You can delete your Soraya account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do this:

1Directly in the app

If you can log in, this is the fastest way:

1. Open Soraya and log in.
2. Go to Profile → Delete account (at the very bottom).
3. Confirm the deletion.

Your account and the associated data are then removed immediately and permanently.

2By email (also without logging in)

If you can no longer log in or no longer have the app installed, simply send an informal message with the subject “Delete account” to:

Please write from the email address you used to register your Soraya account so that we can match the request. Your request will be processed promptly, at the latest within 30 days.

3Which data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• your account data (email address and login data),
• your birth data (name, date of birth, time and place of birth if provided),
• other people you added (e.g. for the partner match),
• your chat histories with Soraya,
• all calculated analyses and horoscopes assigned to your account.

Recovery is no longer possible after deletion. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected; such data is deleted once the retention periods have expired.
